April 2nd 1990 Midlands Seed Ltd is established.
April 1990 Midlands Seed Ltd becomes a registered Exporter with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF), registration number MIDLANDS.
May 1st 1990Midlands Seed Ltd ships first export consignment.
April 1992Midlands Seed Ltd receive ‘Highly Commended' award in the New Exporter Category of the TRADENZ Air New Zealand Export Awards.
July 25th 1997Midlands Holdings Ltd is established.
April 1999Midlands Seed Ltd is recognised as a finalist in the New Zealand Export Awards in the DHL Medium Exporter Category.
April 2000Midlands Seed Ltd achieves Organic Certification with Asurequality, registration number 068.
July 2001Midlands Seed Ltd achieves Organic Certification with BIOGRO, registration number 2405 CO1.
January 22nd 2002Oil Seed Extractions Ltd is established, with Midlands Holdings Ltd as a 50% Shareholder.
May 2002Oil Seed Extractions Ltd achieves Organic Certification with Asurequality, registration number 0239.
July 31st 2002Midlands Farming Ltd is established.
October 8th 2002 Midlands Properties Ltd is established.
November 2002Midlands Properties purchases 393-405 West St, where its head office is now located.
Jan 1st 2004Midlands Contracting Ltd is established.
February 2004Oil Seed Extractions Ltd relocates to a purpose built premises at 165 Walnut Avenue Ashburton.
March 2004Midlands Properties purchases Longlea Farm, an 80 hectare Certified Organic property on the outskirts of Ashburton.
March 2004Midlands Seed (Tasmania) Ltd is established.
March 23rd 2004Midlands Holdings secures a 100% shareholding of Oil Seed Extractions Ltd.
May 2004Midlands Seed Ltd becomes a registered Exporter of Organic products as part of the NZFSA Official Organic Assurance Program, registration number MIDLANDS1.
October 2004Midlands Contracting Ltd puts a modern Isuzu tractor unit with a high cube export container compatible 43-foot flat deck semi trailer on the road.
May 2006Midlands Seed Ltd is awarded ANZ Fesco Canterbury Exporter of the Year.
December 2006Midlands Apiaries Ltd is established via the acquisition of Symes Apiaries.
December 2007Barry Snell, Oil Seed Extractions Ltd wins Midlands employee of the Year Award 2007.
September 2008Oil Seed Extractions Ltd wins local Clean Green Business Award for third consecutive year 2006, 2007, 2008.
December 2008Brent Middleton, Midlands Seed Ltd wins Midlands employee of the Year Award 2008.
