Midlands Seed Limited was established in 1990, to support and encourage the production and export of arable crops to Europe and South East Asia. Since then, the company has grown rapidly to become one of New Zealand’s major producers and marketers of vegetable and herbage seeds, pulses, oilseeds, cereal grains and related value added food products.

The essence of the QA & Compliance Manager role is to manage all aspects of Midlands Group Quality Assurance and Compliance requirements across all areas of the business.  The key focus of this role is to ensure maximum efficiencies and therefore, enhanced profitability and the successful candidate will ensure that internal and external standards and compliance documents meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

 

Applicants should have experience in HACCP or similar Food Safety based Compliance Programmes and ideally have previous experience with internal and external audit preparation and relationships with audit service providers.
